Dr. Stephen Tangney joined us in October 2008 and as a recent graduate, he is accustomed with the latest techniques, knowledge and newest advances in the field of dentistry.

Steve's caring and approachable nature is paramount to putting all patients at ease, working over a timeframe agreeable to them.

Steve is very experienced in the design and placement of the popular Cerec (Same-Day Crown Technology) Crownwork combined with a broad range of treatments varying from simple everyday dentistry to more complex bridgework and dentures that ensure you can eat and function comfortably and in peace of mind with the assurance that you are proud to smile to your hearts content.

Steve has developed a keen interest in Cosmetic treatments, from simple, effective teeth whitening to more thorough Smile Makeovers. He is committed to removing any reservations you may have about your smile, whether it's a minor change or a whole new appearance you desire, enhancing your self-image and projecting your inner confidence.

Steve's personal and sporting interests are vast, having being chairman of the University College Cork (Ireland) Soccer Club in 2007 and playing on their Senior team for many years at a high amateur standard. He is an active member of Ballybunion Golf Club and a passionate follower of Munster Rugby. Recently he has rekindled an interest in tennis. When he's not busy with sport or attending up to date dental courses, he enjoys reading, socialising with family & friends and travelling.
